Cellarium MT - Muscle Trauma Regeneration

InCytu is developing Cellarium MT to significantly improve the way muscle trauma is treated. Muscle Trauma is a very common challenge for both the civilian and armed forces emergency medicine physician.

There are many challenges associated with current treatment protocols that result in:

  • Long healing times
  • Diminished muscle function
  • Insufficient tissue mass
  • Both short and long term disablement

Formulated as a gel and packaged in a disposable syringe, Cellarium can be injected into the damaged tissue or painted on its surface to accelerate and greatly improve the normal healing process.

Cellarium MT
Accelerated Process

  • Satellite cells are released when muscle is damaged
  • Satellite cells become myoblasts.
  • Myoblasts are attracted and bound inside Cellarium
  • Inside the porous Cellarium, the myoblasts are…proliferated… activated…then guided outward at a contrlled rate to the target location.
  • There they assist in and amplify the muscle healing and regeneration process.
Normal Muscle Regeneration
Normal Process

  • Satellite cells are released when muscle is damaged.
  • Satellite cells become myoblasts.
  • Myoblasts are activated and repair the muscle.
  • Some myoblasts are returned to renew cell population.
