InCytu is developing transformative products that answer the demands of the immunotherapy and regenerative medicine markets. InCytu manufactures in situ bioactive devices (iBDs) utilizing the Cellarium™ technology platform.  

Starting with a broad array of biomaterials, InCytu chooses the best polymer for its ability to answer the structural needs of a specific product application.   The material is then programmed with biological factors to attract a certain cell in the body and enhance or educate the attracted cells.  These cells now leave the device and return to the patient to repair or enhance function or replace and regenerate damaged or malfunctioning tissues.

Unlike previously available biomaterial scaffolds, the Cellarium system plays a highly controllable therapeutic role and then goes away. 

Cellarium’s proprietary modular design can be configured to address a wide variety of clinical needs.  Function can be optimized by selecting the components (materials and factors) of the device and the timing of the interaction between those components and the patient's biology.   InCytu's expertise in biomaterials and their biological interactions will provide clinicians and their patients with previously unavailable therapeutic possibilities.
